The work has been done, and now the Mililani Trojans can see a ripple effect.
The Trojans, who won the state football championship on Nov. 21, entered the USA Today Super 25 national rankings on Monday at No. 25. Mililani went 13-0 this season to capture its first football state crown.
Elsewhere, give it up for the CBS Maxpreps National Computer Football Rankings. That computer doesn’t sit still. As of Monday, the Trojans dropped a step to No. 17. Four teams jumped ahead of Mililani (13-0) — South Panola (Miss.), Starksville (Miss.) and Ben Davis (Ind.) and Nordonia (Ohio) — while three dropped below the Trojans.
Punahou (8-1) fell eight notches to No. 42. Kahuku (9-3) is at No. 288. Farrington (9-3) is at No. 377.
Bishop Gorman (Nev.) is No. 1 in both rankings.
Paul, why don’t you ever shoe Saint Louis ranking? 195
