Lahainaluna keeps title string going

With a title-clinching win last weekend, Lahainaluna kept its string of consecutive championship seasons intact.

The Lunas’ 14-10 victory over Kamehameha-Maui on Saturday put a wrap on the Lunas’ ninth consecutive MIL Division II crown.

No. 10 Baldwin’s 56-7 win over Maui on Friday clinched the Bears’ 10th MIL D-I title in the last 11 seasons. The Sabers won it a year ago.

Scores of the Neighbor Islands’ final two games of the season (before the state tournament begins this weekend) follow, along with final MIL, Big Island Interscholastic Federation and Kauai Interscholastic Federation standings/overall team records.
