Kohala wins BIIF 8-man football opener

Big Island Interscholastic Federation 8-man football got underway Saturday with Kohala topping visiting Ka‘u 28-6.

Earlier this month, host Molokai of the Maui Interscholastic League defeated Kohala of the BIIF 46-14 in a nonleague/interleague contest .

Scores of 8-man football games in Hawaii and league standings follow.

    I wish Oahu schools would follow suit and go with 8-man teams. Particularly private schools like Damien, St. Francis, Mid-Pac, and others.
