Kapolei offensive lineman Julius Buelow, who will be a junior in the fall, has received two new scholarship offers from Pac-12 schools according to Hurricanes coach Darren Hernandez.

Hernandez, who says Buelow is a legit 6-foot-7 and 300 pounds, was offered by Oregon and UCLA this week. The Bruins and Ducks join BYU, Hawaii, Fresno State and Oregon State in offering Buelow, who played at Damien this past season before transferring to Kapolei.

Buelow is one of six Hurricanes set to play in the fall who have at least one Division I scholarship offer. He also joins Saint Louis DL Faatui Tuitele, Punahou LB Maninoa Tufono, Kahuku LB Miki Ah You and Kahuku lineman Enokk Vimahi as players from the class of 2019 to hold at least three Division I offers.

Kapolei had its best season in school history in 2016. The Hurricanes went 10-3 overall and advanced to the semifinals of the Open Division in the HHSAA Football State Championships before losing to Kahuku.
