Kamehameha’s Peterson named to Polynesian Bowl

The first of two final picks for the Polynesian Bowl from Hawaii has been made today with Kamehameha defensive back/linebacker Tiger Peterson earning an invite to the annual high school football all-star game.

Peterson, who is 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds, is committed to the University of Hawaii, choosing the Rainbow Warriors over offers from Air Force and Utah State.

The 2019 Polynesian Bowl will take place Saturday, Jan. 19, at Aloha Stadium.

Peterson is the fourth player from Kamehameha selected, joining linebacker Hoku Arias, defensive lineman Kupono Blake and offensive lineman Lokahi Pauole.

Only Punahou (six) and Kahuku (five) have had more players selected.
