Kamehameha defensive back Kalamaku Kuewa has been invited to participate in the 2018 Polynesian Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Aloha Stadium.

Kuewa, a 6-foot, 185-pound safety, has intercepted at least one pass in all seven games for the Warriors this season. He also forced a fumble in a 23-12 loss to Saint Louis last Friday and had two picks in the season-opening win against Farrington, returning one 71 yards for a score.

Kuewa is the second player from Kamehameha invited to the game, joining defensive end Jonah Welch. The Warriors are one of three Hawaii schools with multiple players selected to the game. Saint Louis has four and Kapolei has three.

Roughly 10 to 12 selections from Hawaii are left and you can voice your opinion on who remaining should be selected here.

The next selection will be announced next Thursday at noon at Hawaii Prep World.
