
Highly recruited Kaiser offensive tackle Michael Eletise will announce his college commitment today on the KHON2-TV 6 p.m. news, according to the station’s website.
Various sites reported on July 22 that Eletise had picked the July 27 target date for making his choice. Previously, Eletise trimmed his 41 FBS Division I choices down to three, but he hasn’t revealed them. His final five choices are Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Washington.
Eletise has been recruited by some of the top colleges for football in the nation, including Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas, Michigan State and UCLA.
Eletise, who is 6 feet 4 and 302 pounds, and the Cougars are gearing up for the fall season. Kaiser opens its season with a nonleague game at Kapolei on Aug. 7.
