There are advantages to sitting in the Kahuku press box watching the JV game waiting for the varsity game against Campbell to start.

You can ask the announcer and spotter how the Kahuku vs. Bishop Gorman ticket sales went a few weeks.

What they said was not a surprise.

“Two-thousand tickets gone in one hour.”

That fact was confirmed a few minutes later by Red Raiders athletic director Gillian Yamagata.

Kahuku (3-0, 3-0 OIA Blue), the defending Division I state champion, is No. 18 in the USA Today Super 25. They face Bishop Gorman, the top-ranked team in the USA Today Super 25, on Sept. 17 in Las Vegas.

@808RR4L, aka 808RotorRouter4Life; eh bozo like you need to finish cleaning it out like that’s the puka in your cranium; I believe your comments not in sync like it skips and sputters but the clean out should put you back in focus and Oh, rotate it in forward and then reverse and don’t use 4WD cause you’ll go into a coma and we all don’t want that; good luck and enjoy your fix.

Real or not, you’re not alone. Been to many games over the last several years and I can definitely hear ‘you’ in the stands….

To purchase tickets to the game Bishop Gorman requires you either have a valid Vegas ID or Bishop Gorman student ID. Fore a team filled with D1 talent they sure are scared…..

  10. Got17 September 3, 2016 12:48 am

Scared of what? This is too funny.
The stage might be too big for Kahuku.
I don’t think they can even matchup in speed or man for man. You’re looking at a team full of D1 Prospects against a team of maybe a handful. BG is gonna blow up the Kahuku points given up per game number.

  11. Good Story September 3, 2016 1:12 am

I thought Harry Reid opposesd mandatory IDs…ah, NO CAN!

  12. Insideoutsidein September 3, 2016 6:42 am

@got17. The stage is always big for any who plays against top Mainland teams. BG may be tough but I know for a fact, local boys loves to hit. BG will definitely know the difference. Will be a good game for sure.

  13. kahukuwrckless September 3, 2016 7:02 am

    Got17
Yeah BG may be the top team but the best team has to lose at some point. its gonna be a close game I think or kahuku is gonna take the win

  14. 87 September 3, 2016 8:11 am

Kahuku fans not the only ones that complain about stacking teams as the texas fansdo to.Keep the ILH and OIA seperate, unfair advantage.

You really think the #1 team in the nation is scared of a Hawaii Team? No disrespect to Kahuku, but that is just absurd. I don’t think the #1 team in the nation is afraid to play any team in America.

  16. 808 RR4L September 3, 2016 9:15 am

GOTTA KEEP UM SEPERATE BU! ALL THE PRIVATE SCHOOLS JUST CHEAT BECUASE THEY CAN TAKE ALL OUR PLAYERS! BUT THE BRADDAHS THAT STAY AND PLAY FOR BIG RED KNOW THAT THEY PART OF OUR COMMUNITY FOR LIFE! KEEP UM SEPERATE BUT WE NOT SCARED NOBODY! ALWAYS READY FOR BANG CUZ!

  17. Jeezy33 September 3, 2016 9:28 am

lol If the RR4L guy is actually fake, then it’s hard to tell the difference between him and most of the Kahuku fans here. That says a lot.

  18. Good Story September 3, 2016 7:32 pm

    @Jeezy
    Only to outsiders.

  19. Education First September 3, 2016 9:25 pm

Jeezy33. That guy isn’t from Kahuku. His writing is too advanced.

  20. Outlaw Jose-y September 4, 2016 11:54 am

Should have one extra seat, because Coach Hao not going!

  21. RR4L01 September 4, 2016 8:23 pm

WOW!!!!! so much negative comments towards a bunch of high school kids exited about seeing where they stand against the nations best. Thats why hawaii football is so stagnant. Too much a’ama crabs in the bucket pulling each other down.
