Kahuku finished No. 37 in the final MaxPreps national computer rankings.
The Red Raiders finished off a 13-0 season with a 39-14 win over Saint Louis in the Division I state championship.
Kahuku also ended the season as the No. 8 team in the USA Today Super 25 Pacific Region rankings.
The Crusaders (9-3) ended up No. 121 in the MaxPreps rankings.
These rankings are so irrelevent unless you actually play and win against the other top teams in the nation, everything else is just speculation.
In other news….Kahuku fans are about to win their school a whopping $1,000 from USA today for clicking endlessly on a button 79,000 times http://contest.usatodayhss.com/vote/2015-best-football-program/final/14324
EwaEwa, I agree. And I don’t ever want to see a tournament to determine a high school national champion. That would be excessive. The insane recruiting that would occur in such a scenario. If you thought the recruiting is insane now. St Louis recruiting outer islands. McKinley having to end their season early.
