JPS Senior Classic football rosters announced

Veteran Damien quarterback Marcus Faufata-Pedrina is one of the many seniors who will play in the JPS Senior Classic football all-star doubleheader on Saturday, Nov. 25. Ron Kosen / Special to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

The JPS Senior Classic — two All-Star football games — will be held at Mililani High School on Saturday, Nov. 25.

The rosters for the four teams of Hawaii players have been announced and are listed below.

The games are being billed as a tribute to the armed forces.


Liberty Open coached by Campbell’s Darren Johnson takes on Freedom Open coached by Castle’s John Hao at 6 p.m.

At 4 p.m., Liberty Select coached by Pearl City’s Robin Kami meets Freedom Select coached by Waipahu’s Bryson Carvalho.

The cost to attend the games is $7 or $5 for students and military.

    There will be two more All Star games in January the Paradise All Star game and the Polynesian Bowl, so there will be at least three more games for them

    Too much people giving props to someone whose benefiting more from this game than anybody else. JPS, owner!…of course hes providing an opportunity for the kids, but their parents are paying for it?… Dont make this guy out to be the kids football saviour!
    When youre using kids to promote your event that already have D1 offers, whose helping who? Those kids are validating his game! Dont get it twisted and get blinded by the smoking mirrors. If he had an exposure game exposing talent of lesser name that needed to exposure, than thats saying something…
