Honokaa hit the .500 mark on the season by upsetting Waieakea 28-27 on the road Saturday.
The Dragons (4-4, 3-4) won’t be playing in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation Division II postseason and is done for the season.
Despite the loss, the Warriors (3-7, 3-4) will be playing against Hilo (7-1, 7-0) in the BIIF’s D-I championship game next weekend. Both teams have secured D-I state-tournament berths.
Konawaena (7-1, 6-1) meets Kamehameha-Hawaii (6-3, 4-3) next weekend in the league’s D-II title game. The winner moves on to the D-II stte tournament.

thats why the BIIF system has to be changed..it should be top 2 in whole big island should be in D1 and 3rd place should represent for D2 tournament..BIIF should have a system like how oahu did their D1 and open situation…
