Hawaii’s ranked teams went 6-3 in Week 11

No. 2 Saint Louis’ 30-14 win over No. 1 Punahou was one of the highlights of Week 11 in Hawaii high school football.

In a huge upset, Kaimuki advanced to the OIA Division II title game with a late kickoff-return touchdown to beat Nanakuli on the road, 27-22.

On the Neighbor Islands, things are starting to sort themselves out and championship games are set in Division I and D-II in both the Maui Interscholastic League and Big Island Interscholastic Federation.


Of the 10 ranked teams in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Top 10, nine teams were in action and six of them won, including all four teams in the upcoming Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I semifinals — No. 3 Kahuku, No. 4 Mililani, No. 6 Waianae and No. 8 Farrington.
