McKenzie Milton had an ultrasound on his injured leg today, according to a story in the Orlando Sentinel.

It cleared the former Mililani star for another surgery, the story said, quoting from a Twitter post from McKenzie’s mom, Theresa Milton.

Milton suffered the serious injury in the Knights’ regular-season finale against South Florida and has had three surgeries so far, according to the story written by Iliana Limon Romero and Matt Murschel.

In other developments, Milton:

>> Will be going to the Fiesta Bowl to watch his teammates against LSU.

>> Has been released from Tampa General Hospital, but did not watch UCF’s 56-41 victory in the American Athletic Conference title game on Dec. 1 in person. He watched the game on TV instead.
