Castillo picked off by Lagaaia, his fifth of the game, and that will end it. Final, Leilehua 40-21.
Nichols with a 49-yard TD pass to Jeremy Evans, his fourth of the night, and that might be the nail in the coffin for Aiea. Score is now Leilehua 40, Aiea 21.

And just like that, Aiea’s momentum is gone, as James McGary returns the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown. Score is now 33-21, Leilehua.
Aiea still alive, as Castillo finds Kalahiki-Basque for a 27-yard touchdown. PAT is good, and Na Alii trims the lead to 26-21 with 7:31 left in the game.

Tom-Makue nails a 35-yard FG, and Leilehua pads their lead slightly. Immediately after, an aerial firework goes off in the Aiea neighborhood. Literally fireworks going off here at Aiea.


Aiea in trouble right now. Pinned at their own nine, they get only a 15 yard punt. Leilehua will have the ball on the Aiea 24 when the fourth quarter begins.

Aiea has an 86-yard touchdown erased by an illegal man downfield. Not only would that have made it a three point game, but it made the Aiea fans quite unhappy.

Neither offense has really been able to move the ball, as Leilehua continues to shoot itself in the foot with penalties. Up to 12 for 145 in the game.

Set to begin the second half. Aiea to receive

Halftime at Aiea. Surprisingly, Aiea has outgained Leilehua 222 to 159, but numerous short fields for the Mules have allowed them to have a 23-14 at the half.

Beautiful two-minute drill for Aiea’s Kayson Castillo, driving Na Alii 85 yards for a TD with just 6 seconds left in the half.

Aiea breaks through, as Babu Capanang breaks away from the Leilehua defense and hauls in a 48-yard bomb from Castillo. PAT is good, and Leilehua’s lead is now 23-7.

Mules again make Aiea pay for a mistake, as Nichols finds Jayzen Ramos for a 10-yard TD. PAT is good, and Leilehua’s lead grows to 23-0.


Another Aiea drive ends in an interception as Kayson Castillo’s overthrown pass is snared by Leilehua’s Warren Lagaaia at Leilehua’s 48.

Max Nichols finds Dorian Furtado with a 19-yard TD strike, but PAT is no good. Leilehua now leads 16-0.

Leilehua’s drive stalls, with Akoni Tom-Makue connecting on a 21-yard field goal. Score is now 10-0, Mules.

First quarter comes to an end, with Leilehua up 7–0 and deep in Aiea territory.

Aiea has a long drive stall at the Mules’ 26. Leilehua takes over on downs.

Leilehua cashes in on an early turnover by Aiea, as James McGary dives into the end zone off a 15-yard screen from Max Nichols.
