Another matchup of top-10 teams highlights the five-game slate Saturday on Oahu.

The seventh-ranked Farrington Governors travel to play No. 6 Mililani in a huge showdown in the OIA Red.

The winner of this game takes over sole possession of first place in the OIA Red. Mililani has given up only seven points in its first two games.

FOURTH QUARTER

Trojans running out the clock. Kila and Olomua picking up first downs and the Govs burn all three time outs. :37 left and the Trojans take a knee.

Wow. Moments after Moses-Sanchez is carried off with a leg injury, Rapoza hits Iosefo Ah Ching for 35 yards and then TJ Tautolo for a 12-yard TD. PAT pass to Ah Ching good. MIL 31, FARM 28, 1:29.

Trojans remain aggressive, two completions and a 13-yard gain by Kila. Then Gabriel has another fake and tuck around left end. His second TD run is a 27 harder. MIL 31, FAR 20, 2:36.

Govs drive 70 yards in 13 plays with Rapoza at the steering wheel. He finds Alaivanu-Afe on a short pass and he turns it into a 22-yard TD. PAT misses. MIL 24, FAR 20, 3:54.

Govs go three and out and punt. Trojans drive 43 yards in five plays to set up a 29-yard field goal by Damien Santiago. MIL 24, FAR 14, 7:27.

Mililani pins Farrington with a punt. The Govs’ punt goes out at their 30. Four plays later, Gabriel scores on a 3-yard keeper. MIL 21, FAR 14, 11:28.

THIRD QUARTER
Mililani’s defense, nine in the bid, no safety deep. Faamatau still slips through for 17 yards. Five plays later on fourth and 4, Rapoza sends a laser to Mosi Alaivanu-Afe, who shreds off a tackler and races down the left sideline for a 33-yard TD. PAT pass by Rapoza is incomplete, but a personal foul call on Mililani replays the PAT. This time Faamatau scores out of the Wildcat. FAR 14, MIL 14, 4:46.

Govs punt after stalling at their 34. Second play of Mililani’s series, Kailiohu Kila blasts up the middle untouched for a 60-yard TD jaunt. MIL 14, FAR 6, 9:18.

SECOND QUARTER

They exchange punts, and then an incredible interception by Iosefa Ah Ching as he wrestles the ball away from Andrew Vallasdares on a third-down throw on the run by Gabriel. That’s his third interception thrown in the half. Govs have the ball at the Mililani 29 with :34 left, but come up empty on deep tosses to Faamatau and Moses-Sanchez.

Mililani takes a knee to end the half.

Trojans fumble a punt snap and the Govs have the ball near midfield, but after picking up a first down, they stall at the 22. Trojans stop Faamatau on a short fourth and 2 pass.

Moments later, huge play for FHS: Isaiah Taumua picks off a Gabriel pass in the flat and races to the end zone for a 70-yard pick-6. Freedom Alualu’s PAT is no good. MIL 7, FAR 6, 4:06.

FIRST QUARTER

Uahinui sacked at the 2 for an 18-yard loss. Another three and out. Mililani at midfield as the quarter ends.

Mililani personal foul keeps a Farrington drive alive, but the Govs later punt. MIlilani’s ensuing drive stalls as well as Gabriel and Tovi are out of sync on back-to-back throws.

Mililani opens the game with a turnover, Gabriel’s pass in the red zone is intercepted.

Govs three and out, punt. Then the Trojans go into hurry-up mode and drive 65 yards in four plays. 40-yard strike to Roman Tovi sets up an 11-yard toss from Gabriel to Olomua for a TD. MIL 7, FAR 0, 6:26.
