Noah Sunimoto with a huge tackle for loss on third down to force Roosevelt into a fourth-and-3. A deep ball is incomplete but a late flag and a penalty on the defense for pass interference keeps Roosevelt in the game as the clock winds under two minutes. Fourth-and-6 and Ogata hits Scott Chung for 14 yards to move the chains. Roosevelt calls its final timeout with the ball at the Pac-Five 20 with 40 seconds to go. Wild play as Roosevelt runs for 5 yards and then hustles the kicking team on. Even though there are 35 seconds to go it runs all the way down and Roosevelt has got guys running on the field. They could clock it but they don’t. The kick is blocked but Roosevelt wasn’t set. Pac-Five has to take the penalty because Roosevelt scored. So Mason Morishige gets the shot at the 38-yard field goal. MONEY. BALL GAME.
Pac-Five forces a three-and-out and starts on the Roosevelt 37. Six straight runs gets the ball to the 9 but an incomplete pass brings up fourth down. Cy Shimamura tries a 26-yard field goal and it’s GOOD. Pac-Five leads 15-14, 4:45.
