7:20: Ian Ishibashi intercepts a Lacar pass to virtually end the game.

7:19: Waialua driving out of deep kim-chee in own end. Bulldogs are at their 34. 1:02 to go in game.

7:16: Waialua has a fourth down at its 8. 1:47 left in game.

7:12: The Wolfpack’s Fautanu punts it 55 yards to the Waialua 1. 2:16 left in game.

7:08: Dicion back in at QB for Waialua. The Bulldogs go four and out. Pac-Five ball is at the Wolfpack 42.

7:05: Fautanu’s punt is blocked by Waialua’s Damien Segundo. Bulldogs ball at the Wolfpack 42.

7:04: Bulldogs’ defense holds. Pac-Five is punting.

7:01: Waialua’s turn to punt.

6:59: The Wolfpack can’t go anywhere and punt. Waialua ball at its 38.

6:59: The rain is lighter now, but still steady.

6:56: Pac-Five’s Elijah Ohai sacks Lacar for a 2-yard loss. Wolfpack ball at their 11.

6:54: Waialua has a fourth down and 4 from the Pac-Five 9.

6:52: Hoekstra catches a 21-yard pass to the Pac-Five 15.

6:52: Waialua’s Samuel Wirtz recovers a Uechi fumble at the Pac-Five 36.

6:48: On the next play, Lacar finds Hunter Nery in the end zone for an 11-yard TD. Lagua’s extra-point kick attempt hits the left upright and bounces back on to the field. No good. PAC-FIVE 14, WAIALUA 6, late third quarter.

6:47: Waialua gets the ball back, thanks to Ocamb’s third fumble recovery of the game.

6:43: Waialua gets as far as the 11 before Lacar throws a pass that intercepted by Pac-Five’s Makana Bertelmann.

6:39: Hoekstra adds receptions of 15 and 31 from Lacar to bring the ball to the Pac-Five 16.

6:36: Kai Hoekstra catches an 18-yard pass from Lacar to the Bulldogs’ 46.

6:32: Gabrial Batista tackles Uechi on a third-down carry and stops him 1 yard short of a first down. Pac-Five punts.

6:29: Bulldogs have a fourth down and 3 from the 13. Lacar’s pass falls incomplete. Pac-Five ball at its 13.

6:26: After a pass interference penalty on Pac-Five, Waialua has the ball on the Wolfpack 20.

6:24: Lacar runs for 10 yards and a first down to the Bulldogs 48. Jakob Lagua runs gets 2 yards and a 15-yard personal foul penalty against Pac-Five pushes the ball to the Wolfpack 35.

6:23: The field is holding up extremely well.

6:21: Rain is coming down hard and steady as Pac-Five kicks to Wolfpack to start second half.

6:00: The rain picks up again as Waialua’s Dicion punts from his own end line for the second time in the game.

5:54: The rain has slowed, but it is still coming down steady. 1:46 to go in first half.

5:52: Pac-Five takes over on the Waialua 38. On third down, a Uechi pass is picked off by the Bulldogs’ Jonah Sarahina. Bulldogs ball at their 3.

5:47: Lacar picks up a first down with an 11-yard run, but Waialua can’t get farther and goes into punt formation. Dicion, however, has to pick up a low snap from the ground and barely gets a punt off. The punt, which traveled exactly 1 yard, was officially a negative-yardage boot.

5:42: Pac-Five Canute fumbles, and Ocamb makes his second recovery of the night.

5:41: Kong runs up the middle for 11 and then 15 yards. Ball is at the Bulldogs’ 46.

5:39: Waialua punts for the fifth time. 6:43 to go in first half.

5:36: A Uechi pass is intercepted by Waialua’s Blitzen Benz.

5:32: Bulldogs line up to punt, but Dicion throws a pass instead and it falls incomplete. Pac-Five ball at the Bulldogs’ 33.

5:31: Lacar in at QB now for Waialua.

5:29: On first down, Uechi throws a short pass to Fautanu and takes it in for a 5-yard touchdown. Shimamura kicks the extra point. PAC-FIVE 14, WAIALUA 0, 10:58 to go in first half.

5:28: A Waialua punt by Dicion is blocked by Pac-Five. Wolfpack ball at the Bulldogs’ 5.

5:25: Dicion is back in at QB for Waialua.

5:24: First quarter ends.

5:23: Justyce Lacar is in at quarterback in place of Dicion for Waialua. He runs for 7 yards and Pac-Five is called for a personal foul for another 15 yards. Bulldogs ball at their 46.

5:19: It takes three plays for the Wolfpack to punch it in. Micah Kong catches a screen pass from Rocket Uechi and scores from 12 yards out. Cy Shimamura kicks the extra point. PAC-FIVE 7, WAIALUA 0, 1:12 to go in first quarter.

5:16: Kyler Dicion’s punt from the Waialua end zone end line goes 24 yards and sticks in the mud. Pac-Five ball at the Waialua 26.

5:12: Pac-Five also goes three and out and punts. This time, a 53-yard punt by Leif Fautanu Jr. pins the Bulldogs at their 2.

5:11: Waialua goes three and out and punts.

5:09: Heavy rain continues, forming big puddles on the field.

5:06: The Wolfpack’s Micah Kong fumbles, and Waialua’s Josiah Ocamb recovers. Ball is at the Bulldogs’ 21.

5:05: Canute goes around right end for a 5-yard gain and a first down at the Bulldogs’ 22.

5:02: The Wolfpack’s Ian Canute goes around left end for 18 yards to the Waialua 42.

5:00: Waialua also goes three and out in the super wet conditions. The Bulldogs punt. Pac-Five bal at its 35.

4:57: It is pouring rain with no sign of letup.

4:55: Pac-Five received the opening kickoff and starts at its 31. The Wolfpack go three and out and punt.
