10:15: Moanalua recovers the onside kick, and appears to run out the clock, but fumbles at midfield for good measure. Radford ball with 39 seconds left.


10:12: Damon Nelson punches it in from 10 yards out for Radford, but this game may already be out of hand. Moanalua leads 33-13 with 1:12 left.

10:05: Moanalua turns it over on downs on its own 47 with 4:05 left.

10:01: Radford punts out of bounds to the Moanalua 25 with 6:38 left.

9:55: Moanalua extends the lead to 33-6 after Javar and Jacob Richmond hook up for a 13-yard score with 8:54 left.

9:50: Moanalua gets the ball back on its own 20 after a missed field goal by Radford with 10:11 left.

FOURTH QUARTER

9:46: End of the third. Moanalua leads 26-6 but Radford has the ball in Na Menehune territory to start the fourth.

9:42: Lawsen Lee with an acrobatic one-handed catch to haul in a 20-yard score for Moanalua. Impressive, impressive catch. Na Menehune extend their lead to 26-6 after Motas’ PAT with 1:40 left in the third.

9:34: Radford goes three-and-out and punts to the Moanalua 40, 4:40 left in the third quarter.

9:30: Moanalua turns it over on downs at the Radford 15 with 6:08 left in the third.

9:19: Moanalua will start the second half from its own 10 after a block in the back call on the return.

THIRD QUARTER

9:00: End of the first half. Moanalua leads 19-6 and will receive to start the second half.

8:57: Moanalua punts again after another uninspired drive. Radford gets the ball on its own 25 with 1:07 left in the half.

8:53: Moanalua’s defense continues to stifle. After forcing another punt, Moanalua gets the ball on its own 41 with 2:43 left in the first half.

8:49: Javar with his second touchdown of the day, this time a 26-yard pass to Rudy Kealohi. Motas knocks the extra point through to increase the lead to 19-6 with 4:42 left in the half.


8:46: Radford punts out of its own end zone, giving Moanalua the ball at the Rams’ 33 with 5:03 left in the half.

8:42: Motas makes a 28-yard field goal to increase the lead to 12-6 with 7:01 left in the first.

8:37: Rashod Tanner appears to have a pick-six for Moanalua, but it’s called back by a blindside block. Moanalua has the ball at the Radford 29 instead.

8:34: Motas lines up to take a 46-yard field goal but the snap is high. Radford gets the ball back with 8:20 left in the first half. Moanalua absolutely not looking like the state’s sixth best team at the moment.

8:27: On a bad snap, Joseph Kemokai punts it out of the end zone for a safety with 10:38 left in the second quarter. Moanalua now leads 9-6.

SECOND QUARTER

8:25: Moanalua turns the ball over on downs at the Radford 36 with 19 seconds left in the first quarter. Its defense has showed up to play, forcing a negative gain for the Rams to end the first. The No. 6 team is holding on to a 7-6 lead after one period.

8:13: Both teams are looking sluggish offensively. Javar has faced constant pressure in the early going as well. Another three-and-out for Na Menehune. The punt is BLOCKED AND RECOVERED BY JOHNATHAN JENKINS FOR A 27-YARD TOUCHDOWN. Extra point is no good but Radford cuts the lead to 7-6.

8:09: Moanalua swarms the Radford run game on three straight plays and forces another punt. Na Menehune ball on their own 45 with 2:53 remaining in the first.

8:07: Moanalua picks up a first down but not much else, so Na Menehune punts. Radford ball on its 10 with 4:46 left in the first.

8:03: Radford goes three-and-out again and punts. Moanalua gets the ball back on its own 17 with 7:21 left in the first.

7:59: TOUCHDOWN MOANALUA. RJ Javar and Jansen York connect on a 34-yard touchdown on third-and-long. Griffin Motas nails the extra point as Moanalua jumps out to a 7-0 lead with 9:04 left in the first.

7:54: Moanalua forces a quick three-and-out and will start from the Radford 41 with 10:59 to go in the first quarter.

7:50: Radford will receive to begin this game.

FIRST QUARTER


7:30 p.m.: We’re facing a delayed kickoff here after Moanalua won the JV game 49-12. This is also Na Menehune’s senior night, with festivities taking place on the field.
