Former Gov Luafatasaga commits to Ole Miss

Former Farrington athlete David Luafatasaga made an oral commitment to play football for Ole Miss next season, according to the Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance Facebook page.

Raised in Samoa, Luafatasaga played linebacker for the Governors in football and forward in basketball before graduating in 2013.


He is 6 feet 4 and 225 pounds and had 66 tackles for Arizona Western last fall as a freshman.


Arizona State and Hawaii also offered Luafatasaga scholarships.
