Castle’s Lewis taken to hospital

Castle’s Keola Lewis was hurt on a kickoff return in the third quarter of the Knights’ game against Campbell on Saturday night at Aloha Stadium.

The Knights had just scored a touchdown to pull to within one point at 20-19 and had just kicked off to the Sabers with less than five minutes left in the third quarter. Lewis was down on the field — with his arms and legs moving — when he was placed on a stretcher and put an ambulance that transported him to a hospital. He apparently suffered an upper body injury and was taken to get medical care as a precaution.

Lewis is a 5-foot-6, 130-pound junior slotback and defensive back for the Knights.
