For those of you who saw our All-State Football selections two Sundays ago, you may have noticed a couple of things. Thanks for bringing those errors to my attention.
>> Saint Louis running back Derek Nakasato is an Honorable Mention selection, but was not listed on the page. That was my error. He received votes, more anyone else on the Honorable Mention list.
>> ‘Iolani’s Honorable Mention punter is not Jordan Lee, the placekicker, but Tanner Nishioka. His selection is also well-earned. He has a coffin-corner accuracy as good as any I saw this season.

Aiea Linebacker, Branden Abiva, should be more then just Honorable Mention. That kid was a “do it all” type player for the Na Ali'i football squad this season. He made tackles, forced fumbles, had an interception, had many fumble recoveries, long snapped on PAT & Punt, played kickoff return… hell, he even had an enormous amount of key blocks on the o-line that lead to many, if not all, of Aiea's scores. What's up with that? Politics I tell you. It's sad to see someone of his calibur with the talent he has be deemed as only an Honorable Mention selectee.
