Ah-Hoy, Malepeai top OIA football all stars

The OIA released its 2015 OIA all-star teams on Thursday. Kahuku swept the OIA Red honors with QB/RB Kesi Ah-Hoy earning offensive player of the year and DB Keala Santiago taking home defensive player of the year honors. Vavae Tata was coach of the year.

In the East, Mililani RB Vavae Malepeai was the slam dunk choice as offensive player of the year while Kailua’s Christian Mejia won the defensive player of the year award. Kailua’s Hau’oli Wong was coach of the year.

Radford’s Ace Faumui earned the OIA D-II player of the year nod while Kaimuki’s Billy Masima was the defensive player of the year. The Bulldogs’ David Tautofi won coach of the year honors in his first year at Kaimuki.
