5 of 6 ranked teams prevailed in Week 10

Terell Johnson, who has been banged up with injuries this year, had a big game in Campbell's 27-21 upset of Kaiser in the first round of the OIA Division I playoffs on Saturday. That game was one of the highlights of Week 10 in Hawaii high school football. The Sabers move on to play No. 8 Farrington in the quarterfinals in a rematch of last season's OIA D-I third-place game won by Farrington. Bruce Asato / Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Five of six teams ranked in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Top 10 won games in Week 10 that wrapped up over the weekend. No. 5 Kamehameha was the only team to lose — a close one 26-23 to No. 1 Punahou at Aloha Stadium on Thursday.

Four Top 10 teams were idle. No. 2 Saint Louis, No. 7 Kapolei, No. 9 Kailua and No. 10 Kapaa were the other four Top 10 teams to get wins.

The Oahu Interscholastic Association playoffs got underway, the Hurricanes and the Surfriders along with Moanalua and Campbell (in an upset of Kaiser) advancing.
