The Kamehameha Warriors are built for endurance. On this night, they brought resilience, rallying for a 19-25, 15-25, 25-22, 25-14, 17-15 win over No. 3 ‘Iolani to secure a state-tournament berth for the 18th year in a row. Sophomore Devin Kahahawai had a team-high 24 kills, while senior setter Bryanne Soares had 63 assists, 10 kills and four blocks. Coach Chris Blake has guided Kamehameha to state finals appearances in every season since 2002, winning nine state championships.

    HUGE shout out to Mia Goulart, for the crazy digs at the end of set 5! I don’t think she got enough recognition for those, great job! And congrats to the the lady warriors for qualifying for states! IMUA!
