Leilehua wrapped up the No. 2 seed and a first-round playoff bye out of the West in the OIA volleyball playoffs with a 25-22, 25-16 win over Radford on Tuesday night.
The West closed out the regular season Tuesday with the East finishing up on Wednesday.
Moanalua and Kahuku are the top two seeds out of the East with Na Menehune getting the top seed via a sweep of the Red Raiders two weeks ago. The Trojans went undefeated again in the West without dropping a set to earn that No. 1 seed.
Kapolei and Aiea tied for third in the West with Kapolei earning the tiebreaker because of its three-set victory head-to-head on Sept. 24. Waianae and Nanakuli tied for the final playoff berth that went to the Seariders because of a three-set win over the Golden Hawks on Sept. 15.
The only seeds decided on the final day of the regular season in the East on Wednesday were the fourth and fifth spots. Kalani and Castle started the day with identical 5-5 records with Kalani owning the tiebreaker because of its three-set win over the Knights on Sept. 14.
Unfortunately for Castle, it had to play division winner Moanalua, and lost 25-16, 25-12 to finish with the fifth seed. Kalani beat Roosevelt in three sets to close the regular season with a winning record.
