With wins over Campbell and Mililani to end the regular season, Pearl City earned the top spot out of the brutally difficult OIA West heading into the OIA softball playoffs that begin Wednesday with four first-round games in Division I.
Moanalua and Kailua are still waiting to determine who will get the first-round bye out of the East as the No. 2 seed. Na Menehune and the Surfriders finished 9-3 and split the head-to-head matchups. Roosevelt (10-2) is the top seed out of the East but will have a dangerous quarterfinal game on Thursday against the Leilehua/Farrington winner.
The top seeds in Division II are Aiea and Kalani.
