Twelve of 20 wrestlers in Hawaii Prep World’s pound-for-pound rankings will be in action Saturday in either the OIA East or the OIA West championships.
Out West at Pearl City, five of 10 p4p boys and two of 10 p4p girls will go for divisional titles before next week’s league meet.
In the East at Farrington, there will be one p4p boy and four p4p girls competing.

A p4p showdown is brewing in the East 117 bracket, with a potential finals matchup between Macy Higa of Roosevelt and Tiare Ikei of Kaiser.
Campbell’s Kachi Respicio is part of a loaded 170-pound West bracket, with Leilehua’s Keanu Punley, Kapolei’s Gianni Oyadomari and Pearl City’s Kasey Kikuyama.
One OIA p4p wrestler, No. 2 Makoa Cooper of Pearl City, was not listed on the brackets at his usual 160. He is expected to compete in next week’s OIA meet.
The eight other p4p wrestlers not at one of Saturday’s two OIA meets are going for titles in upcoming Interscholastic League of Honolulu or Maui Interscholastic League championships.
