No surprise: ‘Iolani is the new No. 1

By virtue of its upset of then-top-ranked Punahou on Saturday, ‘Iolani took over the No. 1 spot in the Honolulu Star-Advertier’s Top 10 volleyball poll released Monday.

The Buffanblu fell to No. 2 after its 25-21, 25-20 loss to the Raiders at Punahou’s Hemmeter Fieldhouse.


The volleyball poll of Hawaii media members from across the state follows, with first-place votes in parentheses, won-lost records, points accumulated in the voting, and last week’s ranking.

    KS-Hawaii is 4-3 and ranked 10? Why not bring up Kalaheo 3-1? Also, Seabury no stats? Have they played yet?
