Kong-Johnson to play for Princeton

Punahou goalkeeper Noelani Kong-Johnson will be going to Princeton to play soccer next season, according to her high school coach, Starr Johnson.

The Buffanblu senior led her team to the ILH championship this season and a spot in the state tournament. She signed her letter of intent to play for the Tigers of the Ivy League.


Kong-Johnson was also recruited by Oregon and UMass.


Johnson is well aware of Kong-Johnson’s talent and said, “She is super smart, too.”
