Punahou’s Cameron Kato made the leap up one weight class on Saturday and beat 132-pound state-title contender Blaysen Terukina of Kamehameha, 10-8, in the final of the ILH open wrestling tournament.

Both have won state championships previously. Kato took the 106-pound state title two years ago and is aiming at the 126 title this year. Terukina won at states at 120 last season and is going for the 132-pound crown this season.

Here are the brackets from the ILH.

And thanks to Rick Williams, here are the OIA results from Kalaheo. The other two sites ran their events on paper and no results are available. The best match at Kalaheo looked like Antonio Ruiz’s 9-7 win over Baylen Cooper.
