Kalani dedicated its new athletic facility Friday.

The 19,300 square-foot facility includes a new girls athletic locker room, a training room and a wrestling/judo room.

The dedication included a ceremony, guest speakers and a guided tour.

According to the Department of Education in a news release, it’s the school’s first girls locker room, and it includes lockers, access to hot showers and an area for game planning.

“This new locker room is an essential part to our growing athletics program,” said Lauren Horita, Student Body President of Kalani High School and a varsity soccer player. “This new building not only impacts us, but also future generations of Lady Falcons as they are now given the resources to follow their dreams.”
