Castle girls soccer defender Alyssa Tanigawa signed a national letter of intent to play for Chaminade next year, the Silverswords announced Friday.

Tanigawa is a two-time All-OIA first-team selection and was the Knights’ team captain for the past two years.

She also captained her club team, the Eastside Storm, from 2011 to ’14, and is the captain of her current team, Leahi 97 Premier.

Brandee Lane (Castle), Megan Mararagan (Kalani), Jordan Taboniar (Kamehameha) and Caitlyn Tatemichi (Roosevelt) are other Hawaii high school girls soccer players who have signed to play for Chaminade for 2015.
