Campbell senior Jocelyn Alo, the reigning Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State position player of the year and Gatorade Hawaii player of the year, was named to the Max Preps preseason All-America softball team on Tuesday.
Alo, who has signed to play at Oklahoma next year, is one of four catchers named to the team.
Last season, Alo did not make an error in 31 games and hit .612 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs for the state champion Sabers. Alo hit .778 (7-for-9) with eight RBIs in the state tournament.
