Mililani’s Vanessa Roybal won her third straight divisional title at Saturday afternoon’s OIA Western Division cross country championship.
Roybal won the girls 3-mile race in 19 minutes, 45.45 seconds at Central Oahu Regional Park. She won the varsity girls race last year and was the JV winner as a sophomore.
Teammate Lauren Gibbs placed second in 20:04.23 and Kiana Caranto placed fourth in 20:17.83 to help the Trojans win the team title with 30 points.
Mililani won the boys team title with 41 points, led by Tyler Stiles’ fifth-place finish in 18:16.36. Jacob Chang placed sixth in 18:30.10 and Timothy Schiller finished eighth in 18:39.29. Radford’s Martin Fajardo won the boys race in 17:54.57.
The OIA JV championship is this Saturday and the OIA championship is scheduled for Oct. 24.
