Hawaii Prep, Hilo rise in BIIF cross country

The Hawaii Prep girls and Hilo boys ran to wins in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation cross country race at Kamehameha-Hawaii on Saturday.

Hilo’s Keala Pacyao-Rivilla won the 3-mile girls race in 21 minutes, 36.43 seconds, but Ka Makani took the next four places.

Waiakea’s Louie Ondo ran to victory in the boys race in 16:41.55.
