Oahu Interscholastic Association boys soccer champion Kalani is the No. 1 seed for next week’s Division I state tournament. Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Punahou is the second seed, followed by Maui Interscholastic League winner Kamehameha-Maui and Big Island Interscholastic Federation titlist Kealakehe as the third and fourth seeds. Hawaii Prep, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion, is the top seed in Division II. Hilo’s Kalamanamana Harman was just trying to help out her goalkeeper, Saydee Bactad. It just so happens that she did it three times in the span of about 10 seconds. Kapolei captain Shandon Hopeau had his way with Campbell on Thursday night, scoring nine goals in an 11-0 win. Hopeau came into the contest with eight goals in three games and scored 20 last year while being named to the Star-Advertiser’s Stellar Eleven soccer team.
