Oregon coach targets Tua immediately

One of Willie Taggart‘s first acts as Oregon football coach was to jump on a plane to Hawaii. Taggart, who was hired on Wednesday, is on his way to Ewa Beach to visit Saint Louis quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is committed to Alabama. Saint Louis sophomore Faatui Tuitele wasn’t the only Crusaders to receive some good news from Vanderbilt this week. Two days after Tuitele picked up one of his two SEC offers this week, Vanderbilt also extended an offer to Saint Louis junior defensive back Isaiah Tufaga. Tufaga tweeted the news on Friday. Kamehameha senior Adam Stack, one of two players from Hawaii selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 7, in San Antonio, received his jersey today in a presentation on campus.
