Kapaa’s Unutoa adds offer No. 11; sets visits

Kapaa offensive lineman Morris Unutoa picked up his 11th Division I scholarship offer from Virginia a couple of weeks ago. With his Warriors not playing in the Division II state tournament for at least 11 more days, Unutoa, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive lineman, will take an official visit to Oregon State this weekend. Punahou quarterback Nick Kapule received his first Division I scholarship offer on Sunday from Hawaii. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior tweeted the news. Hawaii High School Football Recruiting Tracker. It’s been a pretty nice weekend for Kahuku teammates Kekaula Kaniho and Aliki Vimahi. First, they took part in a 50-7 thumping of Aiea on Friday night to stretch the top-ranked Red Raiders’ winning streak to 15 games dating back to the end of the 2014 season. Hawaii High School Football Recruiting Tracker A couple of recruiting tidbits. Waianae’s Kanai Mauga, a junior defensive end listed at 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, told me Sunday that he has received a scholarship offer from Oregon State. One game and one more offer for Punahou’s Miki Suguturaga. The Punahou defensive lineman kicked off his senior season in a 70-9 win over Leilehua last Friday and collected his 12th Division I FBS scholarship offer on Thursday.
