Central Florida sophomore quarterback McKenzie Milton, a 2016 Mililani graduate, was one of 13 players added to the 2017 Maxwell Award Watch List today. The Maxwell Award is presented each year to the most outstanding collegiate football player in the country. Milton currently ranks in the top 15 nationally in four offensive categories. Arizona State defensive back Joey Bryant, a 2009 Saint Louis alumnus, will miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during practice last Tuesday. Bryant, who started the first three games of the season, had 15 tackles and is still the only Sun Devil to record both a sack and an interception this season. Central Florida quarterback McKenzie Milton finished 19-for-31 for 253 yards and three touchdowns and added 88 rushing yards on 11 carries in the Knights’ 40-13 win over Memphis on Saturday. Freshman Tua Tagovailoa threw for 103 yards and two touchdowns in Alabama’s 59-0 road victory over Vanderbilt on Saturday.
