Offer to a king: UH wants Kalakaua Timoteo

Mililani’s record-breaking wide receiver, Kalakaua Timoteo, has received his first scholarship offer. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance announced today that the 6-foot-1, 195-pound junior received an offer from the University of Hawaii. Timoteo caught a record four touchdown passes in Mililani’s 53-45 state-championship win over Punahou on Friday. He finished the game with seven catches for 117 yards. Big Island Senior Bowl releases rosters

The Life Champion Senior Bowl, operated by Hawaii Football Club, released its roster for the Dec. 6 exhibition game today. The roster is filled with seniors from across the islands, including Oahu. The teams have not been determined yet, but the birth of this exhibition is a relief for ILH and OIA players who had been looking forward to the annual HUB Goodwill Senior Bowl. The Mililani Trojans are getting a little more attention since their upset of Punahou in the Division I championship game at the First Hawaiian Bank/HHSAA Football State Championships on Friday. Mililani (13-0) rose 12 spots to No. 16 in the CBS MaxPreps National Computer Ratings, which were released today. Punahou (8-1) fell 15 notches to No. 34.
