It takes a Hurricane to know a Hurricane, maybe. The University of Tulsa became the 13th FBS school to make a football scholarship offer to Kapolei junior Toleafoa Sean Auwae. UNLV and its new coaching staff is truly in it to win it. Four days after the Rebels’ in-state rival, Nevada, made a football scholarship offer to Kapolei’s Toleafoa Sean Auwae, UNLV also made an offer to the offensive lineman. Swamp Fever: Florida is Eletise’s 34th offer

Fifteen days after receiving an offer from Auburn, Michael Eletise has another one from down South. Florida is the fifth SEC program to make a football scholarship offer to the 6-foot-4, 305-pound junior offensive lineman. Salanoa’s connection lands Manabe an offer

In an 11-day span during April, Radford wide receiver Thomas Reid III landed two FBS scholarship offers, one from Hawaii and the other from Nevada. The Nevada connection was former UH quarterback and assistant coach Nick Rolovich. Now Radford coach Fred Salanoa has another connection that has yielded an offer for another Radford player. The United States Naval Academy has offered ‘Iolani junior Keoni-Kordell Makekau a football scholarship. Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance shared the news on its Facebook page today. Makekau, a 5-foot-11, 166-pound wide receiver/slotback/placekicker, also has offers from Washington State and Hawaii. He won the ILH boys 100-meter dash recently with a time of 11.01 seconds. Nick Rolovich was a prolific passer at the University of Hawaii in his senior season. His coaching career at UH followed, and though he has since moved on to Nevada as an offensive coordinator, he continues to press hard in the islands. Louisville has reached out to the islands for a third time in this football offseason. The Cardinals, who already have scholarship offers to Kapolei’s Sean Auwae and Kaiser’s Michael Eletise, made an offer to Saint Louis’ Tua Tagovailoa.
