Auburn makes it 19 offers for Tua

From Rob DeMello to Recruiting365 to Adam Gorney of Rivals.com, the news spread quickly on Twitter on Thursday night: Auburn has offered a football scholarship to Saint Louis quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. This is the 19th scholarship offer made to the Star-Advertiser All-State quarterback. It’s also the second offer since he narrowed his list to eight schools last week. Georgia Tech made an offer earlier in the week.

Taulia Tagovailoa got a little emotional when new Hawaii football head coach Nick Rolovich made him a scholarship offer on Thursday. Hurricane nation was on alert earlier in the week when the father of two key players announced that the sons would be moving to Utah. Saint Louis four-star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa narrowed his list of college choices from at least 17 known offers down to eight Tuesday on Twitter. Tagovailoa wrote, in no particular order, his recruitment is down to Alabama, Ole Miss, USC, UCLA, Texas A&M, Washington, Hawaii and Arizona.
