Mililani alum and current Pima C.C. freshman Jordan Agasiva was named the No. 1 overall junior college recruit for the class of 2017 by 247sports.com on Wednesday. Tua Tagovailoa, the prized quarterback recruit from Saint Louis, took unofficial visits to Ole Miss and Auburn over the weekend and he is on his way to an unofficial visit at Alabama, according to various sources, including SECCountry.com, 247sports.com, his head coach at Saint Louis, Cal Lee, and the Tagovailoa’s family. Lots of football players want to be tested and timed in all the measurables, and they’ll get a chance at the Hawaii Football Combine on May 21 at the Saint Louis football field. The combine is being directed by former University of Hawaii cornerback Kenny Patton. Hilo hires Drummondo as football head coach

Hilo didn’t have to look very far for a new head football coach. He was right there all along. The Vikings hired Kaeo Drummondo as the head man, athletic director Kurt Kawachi told Hawaii Prep World on Thursday. Drummondo spent last season with Lisa Pana as co-head coaches and led Hilo to its third straight Big Island Interscholastic Federation championship and a spot in the Division I state tournament.
