In what head coach Nelson Maeda called a ‘rough’ week of preparation, Castle was able to shrug aside their roster issues in a 38-0 opening-night rout over visiting Kalaheo on Friday night. Braden Amorozo threw for 316 yards and accounted for two second-half touchdowns to help Waipahu hold off host Nanakuli 20-12 on Friday in the season-opener for both teams.
