Kaimuki coach David Tautofi wanted to challenge his squad during fall camp. The Bulldogs didn’t have to travel very far to find the toughest challenge in the state, going just up the road to face nationally-ranked Saint Louis on Saturday morning for a controlled scrimmage. Highlights from a tri-scrimmage between Campbell, Damien and Kaimuki. Campbell’s Titus Mokiao-Atimalala and Bubbah Aina-Chaves scored two touchdowns each. Damien quarterback/linebacker Duke Ho‘ohuli sparked the Monarchs to two early TDs. Kaimuki’s Naomas Asuega-Fualaau and Jayden Maiava also scored TDs.

Every year, numbers are low, but the Kaimuki Bulldogs find a way to make success happen. The Bulldogs suited up roughly two dozen players on Thursday, and came away from a tri-scrimmage with Campbell and Damien with plenty of material to work with.
