Roosevelt quarterback Sky Ogata has taken over with the most passing yards on Oahu this season. Ogata inched past Kapolei’s Noa Bailey for the top spot overall while Waipahu running back Alfred Failauga and Campbell receiver Titus Mokiao-Atimalala continue to lead in their respective statistical categories. Freshman quarterback John-Keawe Sagapolutele passed for 217 yards and two TDs and running back Vincent Terrell scores two TDs in Punahou’s 44-13 win at No. 8 Kapolei. Punahou improved to 4-0 overall (3-0 ILH Open Division). Alaka‘i Gilman and Jonah Henry return interceptions for touchdowns to spark Punahou’s defense, which had not allowed a touchdown all season until Kapolei’s Jayven Reyes scored with 2:26 to go in the second quarter.
