Punahou ends 2018-19 with 12 state titles and more national recognition

Punahou hauled in six spring sports championships to double its previous total for the school year and finish with 12. San Francisco 49ers and HHSAA to run free youth football camp

West Coast NFL teams are developing a strong interest in Hawaii. The Los Angeles Rams will host a preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys this fall. And now, the San Francisco 49ers, the Hawaii High School Athletic Association and USA Football are partnering to host a free youth football camp on Friday, the HHSAA announced Tuesday. KS-Hawaii’s Keith Laeha is national assistant wrestling coach of year

Kamehameha-Hawaii’s Keith Laeha broke new ground for Hawaii wrestling on the national stagee recently. He was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association assistant coach of the year, the first time an honor has been bestowed upon someone from Hawaii. “Keith was recognized for his (more than) 40 years of service and dedication to the sport,” said Alfred Torres, a Radford wrestling coach who once coached Laeha at Kamehameha. “I’m very proud to say Keith is a former wrestler of mine.” […]

The singles titles at the HMSA Hawaii Tennis Championships are in new hands now. The doubles winners added onto their school’s winning streaks.
