Kamehameha’s Tanner Moku wins Gatorade Hawaii award

Kamehameha junior Tanner Moku is the Gatorade Hawaii boys track and field athlete of the year, the Gatorade Company announced Monday. The award recognizes outstanding athletic excellence, high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character on and off the track. Moku, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior, won the 110-meter high hurdles in 14.54 seconds and the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 38.72 at the state championship meet in May.
