Forty-five minutes until the voting deadline, and the Star-Advertiser Girls Basketball Top 10 is in for a very minor change in the big picture. If these numbers hold up, there will be one slightly giddy new team in the Top 10. After two months — the first day of tryouts for girls hoops was Nov. 1 — they might finally crack the poll. Micah Christenson had 31 points, eight rebounds, three assists, four blocks and three steals as Kamehameha outscored St. Bernard 85-71 on Thursday at The Holiday Classic in San Diego, Calif. Kamehameha (10-5 overall) went 2-2 in the 79-team, five-division tourney. The Warriors competed in the second-highest tier, the American Division. Dyrbe Enos added 21 points and Frank Ho had 10. Hawaii’s top two boys basketball high school teams had mixed results in Wednesday’s action at The Holiday Classic in San Diego, Calif. Top-ranked ‘Iolani (9-3 overall, 2-0 ILH) defeated Vista del Lago (Calif.) 66-53. Josiah Sukumaran had 19 points, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks — and no turnovers — to pace the Raiders.
