The Campbell Sabers spent part of their winter break playing basketball in Las Vegas.
Coach Wyatt Tau‘s team appreciated the aloha of many transplanted islanders on the so-called “ninth island”. They played four games there, winning one. Campbell defeated Liberty 56-50 on Dec. 26, then lost to Cathedral 80-26, Chaparral 39-24 and Cypress 57-55.
“Heck yeah, we’re freezing,” Tau texted during the trip. “We are having fun. Maybe too much.”
Temperatures in Las Vegas dipped into the 30s during their trip. The team returned to the islands on Monday.

Is that a misprint 80 – 26? Campbell must be knick fans
